Web design & development
RL Enterprise designs and develops custom websites for small and mid-sized businesses, built in React, Next.js and TypeScript, or on WordPress and Shopify where those platforms are genuinely the better fit. Every site is engineered from the architecture stage to be found by search engines and readable by AI assistants, because our core specialism is SEO and AEO. That decision costs more now than it used to: GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, ClaudeBot and PerplexityBot do not execute JavaScript, so a site that assembles its content in the browser can be effectively blank to the systems your customers increasingly ask for recommendations. We do not assemble sites from page-builder templates, and clients own all code and accounts outright.
What kind of websites do we build?
Marketing sites, e-commerce, and full web applications with custom backends.
- FaceRating.aiAn AI application: website, backend, hosting and management, built with React, TypeScript, Tailwind and Supabase.
- McManhunt.comA gaming platform: website and backend for a multi-region network with over 1,500,000 unique users since its 2020 launch, running on WordPress, MongoDB, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes and Google Cloud.
- MarbiMarket.comAn e-commerce site for a grocery business in Valencia, Spain: trilingual (Spanish, Romanian, English), with custom animation and AI-generated video.
- Three industries, three stacks, chosen per project rather than forced through one toolchain. See more of our work.
Why custom instead of a template?
Templates are fast to launch and slow to live with. They carry code you do not use, which costs page speed. They resist structural change, which caps your SEO. And they look like the thousand other sites built from the same theme.
A custom build carries only what your business needs. It loads fast because there is less of it. Its structure can be shaped around the searches and questions your buyers actually have. And when your business changes, the site can change with it instead of fighting you.
Where WordPress or Shopify is honestly the right call, we say so and build on it properly. What we refuse to do is assemble page-builder templates and call it development.
How is SEO and AEO built into a website?
At the architecture stage, where it belongs. Before design starts, we decide:
- Site structure shaped around the searches and questions your buyers make, not around your org chart.
- Performance budgets, because page speed is a ranking factor and a conversion factor.
- Structured data so search engines and AI assistants understand what each page is, not just what it says.
- Crawlability for AI bots as well as search engines.
- Content written answer-first, so an assistant can quote your pages accurately when a buyer asks a question you answer.
- Retrofitting these after launch costs multiples of doing them during the build. That is the core argument for having one team do both SEO and AEO.
What is the build process?
- 01Audit and discoveryWhat you have, what your competitors have, what your buyers search for.
- 02Fixed scopeSitemap, deliverables list, timeline and price, agreed in writing.
- 03Design and buildYou see staged work in progress, not a reveal at the deadline.
- 04Launch and handoverFull ownership transferred: code, CMS access, hosting, analytics, everything.
- 05MeasurePost-launch reporting on what the new site changed.

Questions
The things people ask before they call.
›How much does a website cost?
It depends on scope, and we quote a fixed price in writing after the discovery audit, before any work begins. Projects typically start at US$4,500.
›How long does a website take to build?
Scope decides it, and your written timeline is agreed before the project starts. typical build duration range
›Will I be able to edit the site myself?
Yes, where the scope calls for it. Content-heavy sites get a CMS so your team can edit pages without a developer. Either way, you own all code and accounts, so you are never locked to us.
›Do you build e-commerce sites?
Yes. MarbiMarket.com is a current example: a trilingual grocery e-commerce site serving Spanish, Romanian and English-speaking customers from one build. For standard e-commerce, Shopify is often the honest recommendation; for anything beyond standard, we build custom.
›Can you rebuild or take over an existing site?
Yes. We start with an audit of the current site so the decision to rebuild, restructure or extend is made on evidence.
›Do you also host and maintain the sites you build?
Yes, optionally. Several clients, including FaceRating.ai and McManhunt.com, have us managing hosting and operations on an ongoing basis. Others take full handover and run it themselves. You own everything either way.
A site nobody can read is a cost, not an asset
BrightLocal puts 45% of consumers using AI to find or vet local businesses, and those systems read your HTML, not your design. If your pages cannot be parsed, the recommendation goes to whoever’s can. Email contact@rlenterprise.net and describe what you have and what it should be doing for you. We will reply within 24 hours, and every project starts with a discovery audit and a fixed written quote before any work begins.
